Privacy policy

VPS Scouter is run by Tech by Build. This page explains what information we handle when you use vpsscouter.com. The short version: we don't track you.

No analytics or tracking cookies

We don't use Google Analytics or any other analytics or advertising service, and we don't set cookies. Our fonts and images are served from our own server, so no third party sees your visit.

Settings stored in your browser

If you pick a currency, we remember it in your browser's local storage so prices stay in that currency on your next visit. If you write a review, the name you used is remembered the same way so you don't have to type it again. Neither leaves your device until you post a review, and you can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

Reviews

When you write a review we store the name (if you give one), the title, the text, the star rating and the date, and show them publicly on the provider's page. We don't ask for your email address and don't store your IP address with the review. Email us to have a review removed.

Server logs

Like any website, our server briefly keeps technical logs of requests, such as the page requested and the time, to keep the site running and secure. We don't use these logs to identify visitors.

Links to hosting providers

When you follow a link to a provider, you leave VPS Scouter and that provider's privacy policy applies. Some links are affiliate links, which let the provider see that you came from us so they can pay us a commission.
