How we spot a change
A plan counts as changed when the same plan, with the same vCPUs, RAM and storage, has a different monthly price than in the previous check. Providers sometimes reuse a plan name for new specs; those show up as a new plan, not as a price change. Prices in euros or pounds are converted at a fixed rate, so exchange rates never create a change on their own.
A lower monthly price can also come from a longer billing term, and many intro prices go up when you renew. Check the term and the renewal price on each provider page before you buy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where do these price changes come from?
Our scraper reads every provider's own pricing page every Sunday, and daily from 16 November to 2 December. Each run is saved, and this page lists every plan whose monthly price differs from the run before. Only runs that read a provider's page successfully are saved, so a failed check never shows up as a price change.
Are these the prices with your discount?
No. This list shows each provider's own monthly price in USD, without the extra discount some providers give through our links, so a change here is always a change by the provider.
Can I follow the changes?
Yes. The RSS feed lists the latest changes, so any feed reader can tell you when a provider changes its prices. The full plan data is also free to download as CSV or JSON on the open data page.
